Tefal always ensures that its products are safe for all consumers to use, and that is always our top priority. All our pots and pans do not use hazardous materials such as PFAS, and are free from PFOA. This has been confirmed by various tests carried out by trusted laboratories.
Tefal pans and pots use PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene), a non-stick material known to be non-reactive and bioaccumulative with high durability, not easy to rust, and most importantly not harmful to human health - so it is safe when in contact with food during the cooking process. The safety of this material has also been recognized by various health authorities around the world.
To provide a sense of security and comfort for our users, Tefal offers a line of pots and pans with a variety of coatings, such as titanium non-stick, mineralia derived from natural rocks, and stainless steel.
We will always innovate to improve the quality of all our products, including the durability of the non-stick coating of Tefal pots and pans which is getting better over time.
